This week-long Intro to Guitar course at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is designed for students ages 11–16 and helps beginners build a strong foundation in guitar playing. Whether you’ve never picked up a guitar or are looking to refresh the basics, this hands-on course provides:
- Basic chord instruction and strumming techniques
- Fundamentals of rhythm, timing, and song structure
- Guided practice playing simple songs
Students will learn proper hand positioning, tuning, and essential skills needed to confidently begin playing guitar. Please bring your own guitar. Beginners are welcome!
